Just what does SD mean ?  And what’s this about raccoons and dinosaurs ?

Well, the map is technically a deathmatch.  However, there are 3 extremely slowly respawning units not found in most deathmatches.  These units look like scavengers and carry 5 ‘weapons’.  They dispense recyclers and scavengers.  That’s two, except you chose from three recyclers and two scavengers.  I must warn you, this unit is called a ‘tank’ and will be listed under offence.  It can’t shoot, except for dropping scavengers.

Now, about the animals.  The NSDF called their first elite platoon the Black Dogs.  Then the CCA sent the Red Dogs to Europa.  The NSDF then got the Black Cows with their bombing Razors.  The CCA responded with the Red Cows, who used the AT-Stabber on their Stolis.  The NSDF’s Green Raccoons armed their Badgers with TAG cannons and their Sasquatches with miniguns.  The CCA then armed their Tan Dinosaur Çzars with bolt buddies.

For this mission, you can choose to build a Green Raccoon, Tan Dinosaur, or Black Cow recycler.  The Tan Dinosaur Howitzer is great for offence, but lousy for defence, unless at the top of a cliff overlooking a canyon.  The Tan Dinosaur Çzar is comparable to the standard CCA tank.  The Tan Dinosaur Pak is well armed for close range, but is no match for its Green Raccoon counterpart.  The Tan Dinosaur Flanker is well armed with its AT-Stabbers.   The Green Raccoon units are generally underarmed, but the Wolverine can be useful to immobilise enemies with its four sandbags while another unit destroys them.  The Green Raccoon Razor carries two pop guns and is deadly to pilots.  Black Cow units are generally very well armed, but lacking in ammunition capacity.  The flash cannon is a favourite weapon of theirs.
